Tech Lead (Full Stack)

Job description

The Relive community is dedicated, big, and growing rapidly. We’re proud to see over 7 million people worldwide creating around 200,000 videos a day of their outdoor activities on our app. Your work has a huge impact - enabling people to share their passion for the outdoors and inspiring others. Are you excited to build something millions of people love and up for a challenge?  We are looking to fill this role in 2-3 months but happy to start the interview process earlier.

As a tech lead, you will work in one of our product teams (6 people) and are responsible for the scope and quality of its technical deliverables. The focus is still very much technical (you’ll spend at least 50% of your time building and contributing yourself). We’re excited by shipping early and work on a weekly release schedule.

Some of the things you would be doing:

  • Work closely with the Product Manager of the team to break down requirements and decide on implementation phases
  • Make sure projects are delivered on time, signal roadblocks and progress
  • Keep oversight on how projects are executed technically, and make sure standards are met (code quality, performance, data integrity, infrastructure costs etc.)
  • Ensure stable rollouts and operation
  • Make sure technical members of the team are productive and growing (coaching, provide technical mentorship & guidance

Because we rely on TypeScript across the stack (from mobile to backend), all engineers at Relive can work closely together and have an impact all across the product. If you are experienced with Javascript / Typescript, you should feel right at home.
